Our approach

From idea to impact.

A clear process, from the first conversation to a website that delivers. We keep it orderly and never leave you guessing where we stand.

The five steps of the process laid out side by side on separate sheets on a work table

Step by step

This is how we work together.

A good result begins with a clear approach. In five clear steps we work towards a website that suits your business and your goals.

  1. Introduction

We discuss your wishes, your goals and what is possible. That gives us a clear picture of your business.

  2. Strategy

We turn your goals into a concrete plan: structure, functionality and a visual direction.

  3. Design

We design a distinctive, modern proposal that strengthens your brand and speaks to your audience.

  4. Development

We build the website with the technology that belongs to it. Fast, secure and fully made to measure.

  5. Launch and growth

After thorough testing we go live. Afterwards we remain available for support and maintenance.

  1. First conversation

We speak, at your place or remotely. You tell us what your business does, for whom, and why customers choose you. We mostly listen.

  2. Establishing needs and wishes

What the website should deliver, which pages are needed, what functionality, how many languages. This is where the scope is set.

  3. Quote

A fixed amount with a clear description of what is included. You know where you stand before anything is built.

    Valid for thirty days
  4. Approval and deposit

After your approval we invoice twenty percent. That confirms the assignment and reserves the time in our schedule. We ask no more up front: the larger part you pay only once the website is there.

  5. Design and development begin

We start building. This is where you supply what we need: logo, company details, imagery and the information that should appear on the site.

  6. Previews along the way

You see what is there, at an address only you and we know. So you do not have to wait until the end to know which direction it is going.

  7. You give feedback

What is right, what is not, what is missing. Gather your comments per round as much as you can; that makes processing quicker and keeps it manageable.

  8. Further development

We process your feedback and finish the website: the remaining pages, the copy, the imagery, the forms and the settings for findability.

  9. Completion

The website is fully finished and measured: at eight screen widths, on keyboard operation, on loading speed and on working forms.

  10. Second invoice

On completion we invoice the remaining eighty percent.

  11. Delivery and launch

After full payment we put the final website live: connect the domain, switch on the certificate, test the forms and open the site to search engines.

  12. Maintenance and hosting

If you want it, the ongoing service starts afterwards: hosting, backups, security updates and small changes. See maintenance and hosting.

Your part

What we need from you

A good website is made together. What we cannot invent is what makes your business worth choosing. You know that best.

  • Your logo, ideally as a vector file
  • Company details: address, registration and VAT number, telephone
  • Imagery of your work, premises or team, if you have it
  • The information that should appear on the site
  • Your response to the previews, preferably bundled per round

Having no copy, no photographs or no logo is not an obstacle. We write, we source imagery with cleared rights, or we design a logo. That last one is quoted separately, see branding and logo.

Honest about the timeline

Delivery within one week is possible. Whether it works out depends not on how hard we work but on how quickly the information and your responses are available.

The building itself takes us a limited number of days. The rest of the time is waiting. That is normal and it is not a complaint, you have a business to run. We would just rather say it beforehand than afterwards.

If you have a hard date, mention it in the first conversation. Then we work backwards from it and you know when to supply what.
